Applicant should be a self-starter, motivated, a fast learner, a team player, and have good verbal and written communication skills in a sales situation. Knowledge of computers, Windows, Microsoft Suite, Internet Explorer, and Outlook is a must: Excel and CAD a plus. Knowledge of solar or other renewable technologies is preferred but not required.
We offer on-going training for product knowledge which is a key element to provide excellent customer assistance and for closing sales. Home office candidates must have high-speed internet and reliable computer w/headset and camera.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum 2+ years college education
- Experience: Minimum two years in sales
- Remote office setting must be free from noise and distractions
- Availability to work daily shifts between 9AM and 9PM PST
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Suite, Internet Explorer, Outlook
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Work together as a team to grow as a company and help each team member
- Two or more years of experience in telemarketing or inside/outside sales

Responsibilities
Primary Function: Provide assistance to customers in making informed purchase decisions and assisting outside sales reps.
- Complete and maintain our in house CRM.
- Maintain video/chat connection with the Director of Sales throughout daily shift
- Develop and provide a professional, friendly communication style with customers and company staff
- Set and review goals weekly
- Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone and email. Provide accurate information to customers, providing requested information and alternative solutions as available
- Obtain complete and accurate customer contact information and other details as necessary. Enter all information in Prospect database.
- Perform a follow up contact by email and/or phone
- Perform other sales functions including: outbound sales campaigns via phone, email, or mail as directed

Perfect part-time opportunity to get into solar with an entry level sales position. Hours are 3pm to 7pm daily with one weekend day required, up to 32 hours per week. Responsibilities

Requirements
As an Outside Sales Representative with The Solar Company, you must possess exceptional communication, negotiation and time management skills and be able to follow our specific and successful sales process. Our ideal Outside Sales Representative can establish rapport with people from all walks of life; wear different hats based on each client’s needs and is open to coaching and advice.
Additional requirements include:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Minimum 2 years outside B2B sales experience with a track record of success
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and handheld devices (iPhone, etc.)
- Ability to develop sales strategies
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

We are currently seeking a Solar Lead Installer to lead a 3 or 4 -person team of residential installers.
Responsibilities
- Complete projects in a timely manner while maintaining our high-quality standards
- Keep installation crew on task
- Maintain contact with Operations during projects
- Turn all completed paperwork related to project in to Operations
- Communicate project status with customers during their installation
- Schedule and pass inspections, making adjustments as needed
