The Solar Company uses SunPower modules, the highest efficiency modules available. Total gross system cost will be between $8-10 per watt to install, including sales tax. The exact solar panel system cost will depend on the size (see What Size Solar System Do I Need?), ease of installation, and regional rebates or incentives. A 3 kW system that would power a typical California residence with good southern exposure would have an estimated net cost of about $15,000 after all rebates and credits. The same size system for a commercial project would end up with a net cost of about $9,000 after taking advantage of the larger tax incentives: California Rebates and Tax Credits.

The SunPower Smart Financing program uses home equity loans that allow you to get great rates, fixed or variable interest loans, and the ability to write off the interest as a tax deduction.
