1. How to Enter:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. 1 winner will be selected in a random drawing on March 2, 2012 to receive a Stephen Curry autographed basketball.. (“Sweepstakes”). Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Daylight) on February 1, 2012 and ends at 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Daylight) on February 29, 2012 (“Sweepstakes Period”). To enter: go to TheSolarCo.com, click on the “Win a Stephen Curry Autographed Basketball” promotional link and fill out the form to schedule a FREE in-home Solar Analysis at your residence (residence must be within the zip codes listed below*) or call 877-60-Solar to schedule a FREE Solar analysis at your home and a representative from The Solar Company will bring you a registration form to complete for your automatic entry into the “Stephen Curry Autographed Basketball” giveaway contest as part of your FREE in-home Solar analysis. Limit one (1) Entry per person/household/email address per contest period.
2. Sweepstakes open to residents of California, living within a 75 mile radius of Oakland, must qualify for Solar installation at owned residence and be 25 years of age or older, except employees and immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of Golden State Warriors, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, owners, employees and agents.
3. Drawing and Notification:
Winners will be selected from all eligible entries received in a random drawing held on or after March 2nd, 2012 by The Solar Company. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winner will be notified by phone and/or email. If a potential winner cannot be reached within 48 hours by phone and/or e-mail from the first notification attempt, then such person shall be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected.
4. Prize: One (1) Grand Prize winners:
One Stephen Curry autographed basketball to be received by one winner. Prize cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash.
5. Prize Conditions:
Prize Conditions: If prize is returned as undeliverable, this will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. All federal, state or other tax liabilities (including income taxes) arising from this Sweepstakes will be the sole responsibility of Grand Prize winner. Except where prohibited by law, the winner’s entry and acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for The Solar Company, and/or the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, except where prohibited by law, to use said winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and city and state address on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further authorization, notification, or compensation of any kind.
6. Sweepstakes Conditions:
This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of The Solar Company and the Golden State Warriors, LLC and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules. By entering, all entrants agree to follow the Official Rules and release, discharge, hold harmless and indemnify The Solar Company, Golden State Warriors, and/or the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, attorneys, employees and agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity or participation in this Sweepstakes. In consideration for being awarded the prize, winner hereby agrees and consents, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of winner’s name and/or likeness in any and all advertising, promotions and other publicity conducted by The Solar Company, Golden State Warriors and/or the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, except where prohibited by law.
7. Limitations of Liability:
The Solar Company and Golden State Warriors, LLC are not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, incorrectly addressed, incomplete, illegible, undeliverable, destroyed, or postage-due mail entries and/or lost, late, misdirected, undeliverable or incomplete entries due to system errors or failures, or faulty transmissions and/or entries not received resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, or for any problems or technical malfunction(s) of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, or entries not received by The Solar Company on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on computer networks, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from entering the Sweepstakes or downloading any material for the Sweepstakes, or other telecommunications malfunctions which may limit an entrant’s ability to participate. The Solar Company may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of The Solar Company which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, then The Solar Company reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.
